    MEMORIAL DAY PARADE WEEKEND What: Memorial Day Parade Weekend - 2 Day Event Time: See Schedule Below Who: Marching Band Required/HS Concert Band Required; Where: See Schedule Below Event Cost: FREE Special Note:  This is required for all marching band members incoming freshman and existing grades.  If you are unable to make it, you must advise Mr. Egan as soon as possible.  Reminder: Memorial Day parades are part of your Final for HS band Class, this is not a marching band only event.  --- ALL --- Marching Band Members uniform fitting will also occur on Sunday. Student Loc:/Time: Harrison Elementary - Basketball Court Area Student Dress: Khaki Shorts & Polo Shirts Student Meal Provided: No, Bring plenty of water Student Transportation:  Not Applicable; Please arrange transportation to each parade Student Cost: No; Personal Spending Volunteers Needed: Yes - For Funnel Cake Booth; See details below.   Sunday May 24th Crosby Parade 10AM ALL 2019 Marching Band Members uniform fitting at HS 12:30 Meet at HS to Load equipment on Truck 1:15  Meet at Crosby Community Center on Willey Road.  Drop off is at the main building (parking is available on the fields if you are driving yourself or family is staying for the parade) 2:00 Parade Starts 2:20 Ceremony at cemetery 2:45 Walk back to truck load equipment and go home   Monday May 25th Downtown Harrison Parade 9:15 Report to Harrison Elem playground lot 10AM Parade Starts 10:20 Ceremony in cemetery 11:00 Load truck and leave for MiamiTown parade   MiamiTown Parade 11:30 meet at MiamiTown Elementary 12:00 noon parade starts 12:20 Ceremony 1PM load truck and return to the HS to unload   Bring Water for all Parades!! We will have water available but it will be limited.  Start drinking water NOW so you stay hydrated later If you will be out of town for any parade listed above please have your parents or guardian email Mr. Egan directly.

Southwest Local Jr/Sr Music Boosters 10/18/2021 5:00pm-9:00pm 589 Ring Rd, Harrison, OH 45030-2765 Fundraiser Reminders Save your online ordering code and share with your supporters to make sure online purchases count. Reminder — your online ordering code is: 934E227. If you have questions about how the online ordering process works, see the attached PDF. Please note that fundraiser online ordering is only valid through pickup during your fundraiser’s scheduled date, time, and assigned restaurant. Ordering delivery for fundraisers is not permitted at this time. Make sure your supporters show the fundraiser flyer (hard copy or on their phone) or tell the cashier at checkout that they are there for a fundraiser before they pay! If they don’t tell our cashier, your organization won’t get credit for the sale. A minimum of $150 in total sales is required in order to receive a donation. Your organization is NOT permitted to hand out flyers to anyone (including your own supporters) or promote the event inside or outside of the restaurant or in the parking lot at any time — that’s cheating! Violation of this policy will result in your fundraiser being cancelled. All promotion should be done prior to the fundraiser – this is your time to sit back and enjoy a big tasty burrito. Gift cards purchased during fundraisers do not count towards total donated sales, but purchases made with an existing gift card will count.

  • Band Camp (2nd week)

    Report to Band room 8AM to 5PM Arrive early for start time of 8am. Here’s a list of important things to bring for band camp • your instrument • a binder with clear sheet protectors for your music • a healthy lunch • a large water bottle/jug and some way to keep it attached to you • a couple pencils • a lanyard with some way to attach your drill sheets to it • an extra pair of socks • spirit week items! Your band leaders wanted to have a little extra fun by making each day a dress up day! Our band staffers will be voting on the winners by section. Remember to make all outfits school appropriate as well as weather appropriate (it will be hot out.) The themes are below. Week 2: Monday - Dress as a Staffer Day - You guessed it. Dress as a staff member of our marching band! Tuesday - Anything But a Water Bottle - For morning block, bring a regular water bottle, but for afternoon sectionals, the game is yours. Bring anything but a water bottle to hold your water. Wednesdays We Wear Pink - Dress all up in pink and show of your Mean Girls spirit! Thursday - Decades Day - Dress up in your favorite style from your favorite decade! Friday - School Spirit Day - Dress up in green, white and black to show off your school spirit!
