The Music Boosters provide scholarships to graduating seniors who have taken one or more band classes in the Harrison High School Music Program and have been accepted into an accredited college full-time, majoring in a field of music study including performance, education or engineering or pursuing a musical venture while furthering their educational career (eg. joining the Marching Band).
Two $500 scholarships will be awarded. Each group, band / color guard will have one scholarship available. The scholarships are awarded at the Senior Awards Ceremony after an application and interview process conducted by the Music Booster Scholarship Committee. This independent committee consists of directors, administrators and community members not currently affiliated with the Music Boosters.
These scholarships are available because of the many music parents who volunteer their time to work concession stands and other fundraising activities. Thank you to all the parents!
Senior students and their parents are reminded to apply for scholarships by April 1st.
Scholarship Application can be downloaded at Music Booster Scholarship Application.
